Not a list of bans,
a way to fill your plate.

We build your nutrition plan together around your kitchen, your working hours and the food you love. Lentils, bulgur and yoghurt stay on the plate; what changes is the proportions and the habits.

From the first call to the first check-in

Each step builds on the previous one; from the first call to the first check-in, you know what happens and when.

  1. Free 15-minute intro call

A short phone or video call. I listen to what you want, explain how I work, and we both decide whether it is a good fit.

  2. First consultation: history, measurements, habits

About 60 minutes. Your health history, lab results if you have any, height, weight and body composition, a week of your eating pattern and your daily hours.

  3. Plate plan and shopping list

Your own meal pattern, swap list, a sample weekly menu and a shopping list. Separate notes for eating out, business lunches and festive tables.

  4. Check-ins and fine tuning

A 30-minute check-in every two weeks: measurements, what was hard in the plan and the next small change. Short questions by message in between.

Dietitian Selin Yılmaz in front of a shelf of pulse jars

Hello, I am Selin Yılmaz.

For twelve years I have been talking plates with people. Rather than handing out a diet sheet, I like solving the hardest meal of your week together.

I see clients in person at my office in Nilüfer and online from anywhere. I write the plan into your shopping list and your kitchen routine, not onto a sheet of paper.

Frequently asked

What is the difference between a dietitian and a specialist dietitian?

A dietitian has completed a four-year degree in nutrition and dietetics. "Specialist dietitian" (uzman diyetisyen) is the title for dietitians who also hold a master's or doctorate in the field. I completed my degree at Hacettepe and my master's in nutritional sciences at Uludağ University.

Can you tell me how many kilos I will lose?

No, I do not. The pace of weight loss depends on starting weight, age, muscle mass, sleep, medication and how well the plan fits your life. In the first session we talk about a realistic starting goal and follow progress with measurements at check-ins.

My doctor started medication; do I still need a nutrition plan?

Nutrition and movement are an important part of managing insulin resistance. Your doctor manages your medication; I prepare the plan to fit its timing. Bringing your doctor's recommendations to the session helps a lot.

Is intermittent fasting suitable for everyone?

No. I do not recommend it during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with a history of eating disorders, type 1 diabetes, insulin or glucose-lowering medication, or under 18. Even when it suits you, I cannot say it is better than a conventional plan; we choose whichever fits your day better.

What happens in the first session?

About 60 minutes. Your health history, medication and supplements, recent lab results if you have them, height, weight and body composition, a week of eating and your daily hours. Your plan arrives in your inbox within two working days after the session.

Do I need to prepare anything before the session?

Bring lab results from the last three months if you have them; if not, that is fine, you can ask your doctor if needed. The names of your medication and photos of two or three days of meals are very useful.

In the intro call I listen to what you expect and we choose the right type of consultation together. Whether to continue afterwards is entirely your decision.
